Mirrnong Minnie — Cultural Education Bush Animals Weaving with Aunty Bronwyn

Inspired by the Tjanpi Desert Weavers, Aunty Bronwyn will teach you how to sculpture hay with wool to create a Bush Animal with real personality! A light-hearted workshop with a good laugh about all the funky creatures that are being created.

This workshop is supported by the Belonging and Reconciliation Action Group of the School of Art to further share the knowledge amongst our School of Art community.

Submit your EOI for this workshop by Friday 8 November 2019

"We both acknowledge the importance of sharing knowledge — and the joy that comes with that — not only because it gives others the opportunity to learn but also because it gives us the chance to extend our knowledge. We embrace the relationships and sense of community that unfold and deepen in this process of humble exchange. These encounters and connections provide for new insights and the space for everyone to heal and grow.”
