Eugenia Lim — Senior Industry Fellow

Recently appointed as a Senior Industry Fellow, Eugenia Lim is an Australian artist of Chinese-Singaporean descent who works across video, performance and installation to explore how national identities cut, divide and bond our globalised world.

Eugenia has exhibited, screened or performed at the Tate Modern (London), LOOP Barcelona, FIVA (Buenos Aires), Recontemporary (Turin), Kassel Dokfest, Samstag (South Australia), Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney), Dark MOFO, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Melbourne Festival, Next Wave, Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), FACT Liverpool and EXiS (Seoul). She has been artist-in-residence with the Experimental Television Centre (NY), Bundanon Trust, the Robin Boyd Foundation and 4A Beijing Studio. She is a 2018–20 Gertrude Contemporary studio artist and since 2019, is co-director (with Lara Thoms and Mish Grigor) of 25-year-old artistic company APHIDS. In 2019–21, a major exhibition of Lim’s recent work The Ambassador will tour to eight museums nationally, presented by 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and Museums and Galleries of NSW.

Eugenia is Senior Industry Fellow at RMIT University and a Centre of Visual Art (CoVA) Fellow at the Victorian College of the Arts. Eugenia co-founded CHANNELS Festival, co-wrote/hosts 'Video Becomes Us' (ABC iView) and is represented by STATION.
