An Anthology of Making: jewellery and objects
Search the library for each chapter of the anthology. Look out for the bright red niches.
An Anthology of Making: jewellery and objects will enliven City Library for the first half of 2020 through the works of undergraduate and postgraduate students from the RMIT University Gold & Silversmithing Studio. This internationally recognised program focuses on jewellery, objects and the wearable from a contemporary standpoint.
Four exhibitions, spanning the six months, will focus on key subject matter identified within the studio environment. The themes are Place, Collecting, Landscape and Colour and Play. Each student explores the topic from their own unique perspective, exhibiting conceptual depth, technical prowess and material experimentation.
