Tips and tricks to help your proposal stand out from the crowd

Come and hear from BLINDSIDE Exhibition Coordinator Martina Copley as she runs through expert tips and tricks to make your proposal stand out from the crowd. Everyone starts somewhere, but anyone can master the art of proposals if they know how.

This session will focus on First Site proposals but the skills are applicable to any proposal you might write in the future.

Martina Copley is an artist, curator, writer and educator interested in different modalities of practice and the annotative space.

With significant experience as an independent curator of contemporary art and gallery manager in public, commercial and artist-run contexts, Martina was arts ambassador for the Australian Pavilion of the 2001 Venice Biennale. In 2009 she curated WALK, a national touring exhibition with NETS Victoria and was the founding curator of MAILBOX, an independent public art space in Melbourne establisehd in 2006. Martina currently lectures at LaTrobe College of Art + Design in Melbourne and is the gallery coordinator at BLINDSIDE Art Space.
