Professor David Forrest

Congratulations to Professor David Forrest who was awarded the inaugural Member Service Award at the International Society of Music Education (ISME) General Assembly, via Zoom from Helsinki last week.

ISME Executive created this new award this year to honour a member who has given extraordinary service to ISME and for going above and beyond the call of duty service. They were most appreciative of David's commitment and his many years of dedicated service to ISME and the music education profession. In particular, they wanted to recognize his leadership and work on managing the submissions, programming the conference, and preparing the abstracts and proceedings for three World Conferences in Porto Alegre, Glasgow and Baku.
