Robin’s art practice investigates possibilities in contemporary abstract painting using traditional means, as well as an investigation of painting, abstraction and the conditions of site as demonstrated by her work in the lobby and corridors of Building 24. Her PhD (2008) (RMIT) examined the role of intuitive and rational thought in the construction of contemporary abstract painting. With a practice spanning over four decades she has exhibited in New York, Melbourne and Sydney.
