Vale Dr Richard Harding

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of much loved former staff member Dr Richard Harding.

This will be a challenging time for all of us who knew him through his many years at RMIT as Studio Lead for Print. We had the opportunity to acknowledge his incredible contribution to the School and indeed Australian art community only a year or so ago when he retired, becoming an Honorary Fellow of the School. He will be deeply missed and was an exemplary colleague, artist and friend. Our thoughts are with Richard’s partner and family at this time.

We will miss his warmth, rigour, generosity, professionalism and remarkable, infectious joy. He was an exemplar and touchstone for so much of what we do; not just in the School, but across the Print community. This loss will be felt far and wide, but, his example will remain with us.
